Clinical Manager
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hi, I’m Lola!
As an LCSW Clinical Manager I oversee the diverse team of interns and provisionally licensed therapists at Redirecting Life Counseling Center by providing structured weekly supervision, individualized case consultation, and competency-based training to ensure ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed care. I monitor clinical progress through regular review of treatment plans and documentation, offer real-time feedback on assessment and intervention skills, and facilitate opportunities for professional growth including role-plays, interdisciplinary case conferences, and access to continuing education. I prioritize creating a supportive, nonjudgmental learning environment that balances trainee autonomy with client safety, ensuring clear expectations, timely corrective guidance, and pathways to licensure readiness.
Supervision with me looks like :
Provide clear expectations: define roles, responsibilities, goals, and measurable outcomes for supervisee performance.
Establish regular, scheduled supervision sessions (weekly or biweekly) with a consistent agenda.
Create a safe, nonjudgmental environment that encourages open discussion of cases, mistakes, and ethical concerns.
Use a combination of developmental, reflective, and case-based approaches tailored to the supervisee’s experience level.
Review case documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and risk assessments for accuracy and completeness.
Observe clinical work directly when possible (live, recorded, or co-therapy) and provide specific, behaviorally anchored feedback.
Model clinical skills, professional demeanor, and appropriate boundaries.
Teach and reinforce evidence-based interventions and culturally responsive practices.
Address legal, ethical, and confidentiality issues; ensure supervisee understands mandated reporting
